Some of the best things in the world come from combining unlikely ingredients, like the Scottish 'Slider': two scoops of ice cream smothered with raspberry sauce, nestled between two chocolate bordered nougat stuffed wafers.
Unexpected? Yes.
Brilliant? Absolutely.
I work in the middle of another great combination - at the intersection of startups, government, universities, and enterprise - architecting and growing innovation ecosystems and aligning policy/strategy with real-world delivery.
It’s in this blend, sometimes messy, always challenging, that real impact happens.
This way of working suits me. I’ve had a lifelong appetite and experience pioneering in tech, from building corporate ventures to co-founding one of APAC’s leading TMT businesses, and co-authoring Changing The Game (Wiley), an award-winning playbook on business transformation.
What drives me today? Helping grow ideas and systems that combine to create engines of performance, prosperity for people, industries, and the broader economy.
